Waffle Island

Waffle Island is a small outfit located in the Philippines.  It is located in Puerto Galera, with a mission to feed the poorest locations in the Philippines.  Many of the people are living throughout the coast and small rocky mountain ranges without the proper nutrition they need.  The parents cannot afford to supply their children with an adequate diet, and that's where Waffle Island comes in! 

Founded by Terry Souza and Liberty Casas, the outfit is only supported by their income from a new small restaurant called Liberty's.  They have seen the need firsthand, and have been touched by these hungry kids.  In many of the cases the parents are hungry themselves.


The waffles are made with real eggs and milk right there at Liberty's Restaurant.  Some of these items are not cheap, like the milk.  At times it has been over $7 for ONE gallon!  The waffles are made on site, then delivered to different locations to help feed the needy.  Your support is very much needed and appreciated, God is using every little bit!    


The simplest gift of homemade waffles is bringing smiles to these children, and some satisfaction to their hunger.  Every cent that is donated is going directly to the two founders of Waffle Island so they can purchase the ingredients and supplies needed to feed the children.


While doing this work, Terry Souza has expressed an incredibly feeling of joy that is difficult to put into words.  He describes it as "being smiled upon by God."  This ministry is not only blessing others, but being a part of it is an incredible blessing in itself!  Thanks to you, children and their parents can have small taste of God's grace through the work of these amazing people.  Thank you for your support and God Bless!
