Wagon driver is in dire need of help

Hi, my name is Kelly and I am asking the community far and wide to help and support a man and woman whom I have looked up to my entire life. They own a haulage business and have fallen on extremely difficult times through a serious accident, which was no fault of their own.

There are 3 lanes to a roundabout, a nearside lane to turn left, a middle lane to turn left or straight over and an outside lane for straight and to turn right. He had set off from the roundabout in the middle lane turning left. A cyclist had come from the right-hand side of the wagon and tried to speed past it, this ended with them colliding with the truck, which unfortunately ended in a fatality, the truck and trailer have been impounded by the police, as in all cases with fatalities for investigation and inspection. Unfortunately, this can take some time.

The police have told his solicitor he is being treated as a witness in the investigation. The police have all the CCTV footage of the accident and witness statements and they have expressed to his solicitor he is a material witness to the tragic event.

As he doesn’t have access to his truck or trailer he has no means of earning a living, he can’t pay the finance on the truck and trailer or any business commitments, this also means they can't even pay for necessities never mind the bills that are racking up with every passing minute.

They are on the verge of losing their home and business, plus their mental health is suffering. Currently, the status of the wagon and trailer will be out of service until at least the end of January, this will mean they have had nothing for two months.

These kind-hearted individuals have also been rescuing cats for the past 6 years, they have never asked for any help and they have been doing this off of their own backs, the vets bills and food for 15 cats is extremely expensive too. It is the run-up to Christmas and even a little goes a long way, so if you could please support these business owners, you could help them overcome these dark days, and they will be forever grateful.
