Wags ‘N’ Wet Noses Half Marathon Fundraiser

On Sunday 16th March I’ll be running my first Half Marathon to raise money for Wags ‘N’ Wet Noses Dog Rescue. I started running in May, and ran my first official 10km at the end of October so this will definitely be the furthest I’ve ever ran by far!

Wags ‘N’ Wet Noses are a UK based, non-profit organisation ran solely by volunteers that rescue dogs from all over the EU and Balkans. These dogs are taken in, treated for any injuries or diseases and receive all treatment necessary. Once they are fit and healthy to travel, they make the journey over to the UK where they are rehomed into a loving and caring home. As Wags ‘N’ Wet Noses are a small organisation, even the smallest of donations make such a difference. All donations kindly received will go directly to the rescue to be spent on rescue dogs currently in kennels, food, medicine, medical supplies, emergency care and lots more.

We now have 3 Wags dogs in our family, including our gorgeous pup Moby who joined us in July. He was found on the streets in Romania just weeks old, fast forward to him being almost a year old and he has found his forever home with us. Despite what he has been through, he is such a gentle and trusting boy. We will always be extremely grateful to the team at Wags for all they have done and continue to do for all the fur babies out there, deserving of a safe and loving home.
