Support Wajiri Stanley's Final Journey Home

My brother, Stanley Mburu Wajiri, was killed by xenophobic violence in South Africa on August 26, 2023. He was a talented football player, a kind and gentle soul, and a beloved friend to many.

Stanley was born on June 25, 1979, in Bamenda, Cameroon.

He was the fifth of seven siblings. He lost his parents and two brothers but never gave up on his dreams. 12 years ago, he moved to South Africa to pursue his passion for football and hoped to join the Cameroon National Team. He always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude. He loved playing with kids and making people happy.

We want to fulfill Stanley’s wish to be buried next to his Late Parents in Muyuka, SWR Cameroon. We must repatriate his body from South Africa to Cameroon to do that.

This GoFundMe is to raise funds for Stanley’s funeral expenses. Any donation, big or small, will be greatly appreciated and will help us give Stanley the respect he deserves.
