Walawaani Acacia: Helping her to find safe passage.

Donation protected
In Dhurga, "Walawaani" means "We hope you have a safe journey home."

Today, we call on this sentiment for our beloved Acacia Ferguson-Davison, affectionately known as Kak, who tragically passed away this week at the young age of 34.

Acacia was a much loved member of our Davison and Ferguson Families and Mum to Isiah, Kiang and Jaarli.

Her sudden and unexpected passing has left a profound void in our lives, and we are now faced with the task of helping her embark on her final journey home.
Unfortunately, Acacia did not have a funeral fund, leaving her family with the financial burden of arranging her farewell. This is why we humbly ask for your support. Any contribution—large or small—will help us honour Acacia with the dignified farewell she deserves.

Many find this time of year challenging, but your kindness will help us create a meaningful celebration of Acacia’s life. Your support is more than a donation; it is a gesture of love and solidarity as we guide Acacia on her journey to the Dreaming.

We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping our families and community navigate this heartbreak and give her the farewell she truly deserves. Let us ensure her journey is guided with love, light, and dignity.

Walawaani Kak. May you find safe passage home.
