Walbeck IVF Journey

Hi everyone! We have been trying to start our own family since April 2021 when I returned from a deployment in Afghanistan. We have hit many speed bumps along the way with both of us being diagnosed with infertility issues that required surgeries. We have shed many tears, expressed frustrations, patiently waited, and had to laugh some things off to stay sane through the physical and emotional ups and downs over the past 2+ years. We are left with IVF as our only option but are very grateful to still have that as an option on our path to having a family. With insurance not covering any part of this process, we are having to pay for it all out of pocket. Unfortunately, our journey is not a unique one. Going through this adventure together has made us stronger and enabled us to more fully appreciate what it means to be a parent. Being able to finally see that positive pregnancy test and hold our miracle baby is worth every bit of struggle that we have been through. We are forever thankful for all of your support and encouragement as we cross our final hurdle to parenthood.
