Wales Ape & Monkey Sanctuary Need Your Help!
Hi All,
The current Covid-19 pandemic is taking its toll on our sanctuary and these are extremely worrying times. We closed the sanctuary to the public on the 23rd March which meant that overnight, our income became zero.
We are a not for profit charity and work has to continue as the animals still need caring for. We rely heavily on the public visiting, adoptions and keeper day experiences.
We still have the same vet bills, heating, electric, water and food bills. None of this is comes cheap. We have a great team of keepers and staff who are working harder than ever before and they are all doing a tremendous job under the circumstances.
Please, please, please if you can donate ANY AMOUNT, big or small, we are grateful for every penny. All money raised will help us continue to rescue and rehabilitate animals in need and provide them with a permanent stress-free high level of care and quality of life.
Our aim is to continuously improve animal welfare, increase public awareness and combat animal abuse. Many of our animals have come from the pet trade and laboratories. We make sure when they come to WAMS, they want for nothing.
