Walk for Lorraine in aid of Nore Ward, St Lukes.

On the 14th October 2022, we lost our beautiful Lorraine. Lorraine spent almost 5 months in the care of the amazing staff of the Nore ward, St Luke’s Hospital. Words could never describe her team and how well they all looked after her. They became family to Lorraine and to us, and were on hand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will never forget their kindness and dedication to her care. They laughed with us, cried with us, and helped us through each day. As a family we would like to give back and help some other families who may find themselves in our position. The walk will take place on Sunday the 27th November, at 12noon. We will partake in one of Lorraine's favourite walking routes from Leighlinbridge through Bagenalstown, on to the Parlour in The Royal Oak for refreshments, finishing in Leighlinbridge. All proceeds will go directly to The Nore ward, St Luke’s.
