NYC Walk for Peace in the Middle East on 11.18.23

Stephanie Laffey & Remy Yelin are two sisters from NY who are devastated by the horrors continuing to unfold in the Middle East. Entire families have been ripped apart; children & siblings & grandparents are still missing; and the situation appears to be worsening by the day.

We cannot imagine what these families & communities are going through, and it does not feel like enough to just donate or share on social media.

We’ve been working hard for the last month to come up with a simple way for our own friends and family to get involved, raise money, provide meaningful support, and keep hope alive for the families & communities Israel who really need it right now.

Join Stephanie & Remy for a lovely fall walk through Central Park on Saturday, November 18 at 11 AM est.

We’re asking for donations of $15 per walker ($6 for kids 5 & under, free for 2 and under). However, if you’d like to donate more, please do.

finally if you are not located in NY or cannot attend, we will also accept your donation, and encourage you to share if you feel called to do so!

we chose a walk-a-thon to keep our costs at zero, so that we can donate 100% of the funds raised to the Urgent Relief For Israeli Families Under Attack by the American Israel Democracy Coalition. According to their Go Fund Me page, they are focused on projects that provide “Post-Trauma psycho-social support for affected individuals and families and supporting service providers; Provisioning essential items for displaced families, including small appliances; Acquiring crucial medical supplies for those in need; Supplying games for children; Essential supplies, clothing and food for displaced families.”
