Walk the State For Small Business

The idea is simple, walk the state of Rhode Island in under 24 hours. Myself, along with Dylan O'Donnell, Matt Bacon and Peter Rouse came up with this idea as we were stuck in quarantine, succumbing to cabin fever more and more each day.  What started out as a simple challenge to test the endurance of our bodies quickly turned into an idea that could help people at the same time. We are all aware of the hectic times that have been brought about due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Being Rhode Islanders all our lives, we have seen some of our closest friends who are small business owners struggle to keep the lights on in these trying times. We are looking to gather any amount of money we can and give it to the ones who are struggling to keep the lights on. Any and all support will be greatly appreciated by these store owners and their families. We will be walking on Wednesday, May 20th starting in Wrentham, Massachusetts, and ending at the Point Judith Lighthouse. This journey will be roughly 50 miles and we will be documenting it every step of the way through various social media platforms. Again, any support is greatly appreciated and will make the lives of these businesses just a little bit easier.
