Walk to Help the Wilcox Family

In the summer of 2020 the Wilcox family's life changed in the matter of an instance. Dan had been having some headaches which turned into dizziness and Tracy asked Dan to go get it checked out. One Telehealth primary care visit led to a CT scan which showed a tumor in Dan's frontal lobe of his brain. One surgery and then radiation and chemo and later a second brain surgery for the tumor and Dan was doing relatively well. Then in the Summer of 2022 the doctors discovered more tumor in the area of the brain called the cerebellum. This area controls many important aspects of life including walking and balance. Over the past few months the tumor in the cerebellum has grown and led to a significant functional decline. Dan now has to use a wheelchair whenever he is out of the house, has frequent falls and trouble with speaking.

A walk is being hosted on December 16. Please use Tracy's venmo to donate and support our family! Donations will be used to cover the endless medical bills especially as deductibles reset in January and to cover daily expenses when Tracy is no longer to work due to caring for Dan.
