Walk With a Sister 2025
Donation protected
Can you imagine being a 31-year-old woman hearing the terrifying words, “you have breast cancer”? No one should have to walk that journey alone.
I didn't. With the support of family, friends and Sisters Network Triangle NC, I am a 31-year breast cancer survivor/thriver, mother and advocate.
I currently serve as President of the Sisters Network Triangle NC chapter.
Sisters Network Triangle NC is a 501c3 affiliate chapter of Sisters Network ® Inc. Sisters Network Inc. is the largest national African American breast cancer survivorship organization in the United States and a leading voice in the fight against breast cancer in the African American community. Each chapter is operated by volunteer survivors. Sisters Network is committed to increasing local and national attention to the devastating impact breast cancer has in the African American community. We invite you to our 5th Annual “Walk With A Sister” Fundraiser. Join Sisters Network Triangle NC and The Legends by supporting the walk scheduled for
March 29 & 30, 2025. The half marathon (13.1 miles) walk will be divided up over 2 days; in Durham (6.5 miles) and Raleigh (6.6 miles). The walk is free and open to the public to join.
Your donation will help support our local community outreach programs, pay for mammograms and provide valuable financial support to breast cancer survivors in the Triangle area. All donations, large or small, are welcomed.
Early detection saves lives! Help us "STOP THE SILENCE"!
Thank you for supporting our 5th Annual "Walk With A Sister" Fundraiser.
