Walk With Brittnee Through Recovery

On Thursday April 8th, 2021 Brittnee (21 years old) and her 13 month old son were involved in a very serious car accident. Both were flown to John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Brittnee remains in their care.
She came in with life threatening injuries and immediately needed surgery. Brittnee had suffered from a tear in her aorta, broken arm and broken pelvis in several spots, broken ankle, and back fractures. She spent the first couple days in surgery in ICU on a ventilator.
Although Brittnee has progressed to a new unit at the hospital, they quickly determined it would be best for her to undergo another surgery which would last 7 hours. This operation would fix her shattered pelvis that had been disconnected from her spine, as well as more work to be done on her right arm that was broken in 3 places, and broken left ankle.
Surgery was successful! Brittnee is making continued improvements, but still
has a very long road ahead of her. Brittnee and her son are truly a living miracle. We have set up this Go Fund Me to reach out to our friends, family and beyond for support.
Our family is extremely thankful for the continued prayers and support from close friends and loved ones- but the road ahead is long and tough. We are asking those who can, to please generously donate and help alleviate the financial burden of the rising medical expenses on this young family.
