Walk with Mark to find a cure for Parkinsons

Hi, I want to introduce you to Mark Mclauchlin. A friend of mine for 30 years. We have done everything together and throughout that time. I have seen him grow, win, lose, hit, strike out, and most off all I have seen him dust himself off and carry on. A number of years ago Mark was diagnosed with Parkinsons....it came as quit a shock to him and his family. It knocked him down at first and maybe more than once... however he has never ever complained, whined or thought of anything other than showing his family how he will not let Parkinsons define him. Throughout the last few years he has competed in long distance running as a way of him keeping his body and mind in check. Although its a struggle some days he continues to show up every day to be the best. I am proud to say I know "Vinny Barbarino" and to call him my Best Friend.

"Walk with Vinny" will be a 40km walk where participants will walk from Port Burwell to Port Stanley, over 2 days, in an attempt to do something "with" Mark rather than "for" Mark.

I would love for you to join the walk if you can (June 5-6). Additionally, our goal is to raise money for Parkinsons Canada on behalf of Mark as a way of hoping to find a cure.
