September 10 2024, we are rallying together as a united force of movers to amplify our support for two crucial causes: advocating for the rights of independent contractors versus employees and championing the entitlements of military personnel moves.

Our primary focus lies in advocating for military move entitlements. The Department of Defense (DOD) often fails to recognize the immense value we bring to the table, except when it's time for them to relocate. Yet, the truth remains that our military families make significant sacrifices and deserve nothing short of VIP treatment across all sectors.

Regrettably, the GHC contract poses a direct threat to these entitlements. Its objective is not to save costs from the budget, but rather to enrich foreign and Wall Street investors by monopolizing the military move process. The new model enforces SCA prevailing wage requirements, which is truly absurd considering they possess zero understanding of the intricacies of our independent contractor model within the industry. They mistakenly believe that compensating individuals on an hourly basis will automatically lead to improved quality.

This leads us to the second part of our mission: ensuring that our resolute commitment to independent thinking and entrepreneurial opportunities remains unwavering. As independent contractors, we shoulder 100% of the responsibility for the entire move process, down to the ultimate satisfaction of our customers.
