Walker Parents Funeral Expenses

Hi, my name is Kathie. This Go Fund Me has been set up to help the Walker children with funeral and end of life expenses accruing due to the loss of both their parents only days apart.

In November my father-in-law was hospitalized due to complications with diabetes. After surgery & a 3 day hospital stay he went home. A few days later my mother-in-law became ill and her COPD was making it difficult to breath. She went into the hospital where she was given breathing treatments and standard testing. After she went home she was notified her Covid testing came back positive. After hearing this news my father-in-law obtained at home testing kits where his results were too positive for Covid. My father-in-law had a follow up appointment for his recent surgery and the Dr told him to go straight to the ER. He was admitted to the ICU and placed on a BiPAP machine and then later intubated. During these days my mother-in-law needed to also be taken to the ER for breathing issues. She was admitted to the PCU floor. Their condition was dire. Sadly, on November 30th my mother-in-law passed away. 2 days later my father-in-law also passed away.

The Walker children; Jonathan, Stephanie and Rissa are now responsible for funeral arrangements and end of life expenses. There is no Will or End of LIfe plans in place. Everything will need to be sorted out amongst them.

I am hoping to raise money to ease some of this financial burden and allow them to grieve the loss of their parents. If you are able to help in any monetary amount I would be very grateful.
