Canberra To Bendigo - Walk For Mental Health
Donation protected
On October 7th, 2024, Nath Ryan, Wal Collins, and I will embark on a 600km journey, walking from Canberra back to our hometown Bendigo in just twelve days. This hike is equivalent to over 14 marathons in just 12 days, with more than 100 hours on our feet, all in support of mental health initiatives in our local community.
Mission:
Mental health is a cause close to our hearts. Our mission is to support our local community with essential mental health resources and keep the conversation going. This walk isn't just about distance; it's about breaking barriers and showcasing the resilience needed to overcome mental health challenges.
What are we raising money for?
All funds raised will directly benefit the Local Lifeline Loddon Mallee branch and Let's Chat Park, supporting mental health services, crisis support, and awareness campaigns tailored to our region. Your donation stays local, ensuring every dollar goes where it's needed most.
How You Can Help:
Donate: Every contribution, big or small, makes a significant impact. Your donation goes directly to mental health resources and initiatives in our local area.
Share: Spread the word about our campaign! Sharing this page helps us reach a wider audience and create more awareness.
Get Involved: Whether you want to volunteer, offer support, or have fundraising ideas, please reach out. The more people involved, the greater positive impact we can make together.
Thank You:
Your support means the world to us. Remember, you're not alone. Please reach out to someone you trust or contact Lifeline for support. We will walk so you can talk.
