Walking 20 Miles in Loving Memory of My Dad!

Hi everyone,

On the 22nd of March, I’ll be walking 20 miles with a group of friends from Portsmouth Football Club to Southampton Football Club. Each of us is supporting causes close to our hearts, and I’m raising money for Cancer Research UK in loving memory of my dad.

Cancer has touched my life in a way that will stay with me forever. Both of my parents were affected by this cruel disease, and during the COVID pandemic, I faced one of the hardest moments of my life—I lost my dad to cancer and couldn’t even attend his funeral. The grief of not saying goodbye still weighs heavy on my heart.

This walk is more than just a fundraiser—it’s my way of honouring my dad’s memory and doing something positive in his name. I hope that by raising money, we can help fund vital research and move closer to a future where no one has to lose a loved one to cancer.
