Walking For Bread
Donation protected
It's all about bread! Money for bread, bread for opportunities in Palestine. Walking for bread in London!
So we did it! The response to 'Walking for Bread' has been overwhelming and we are so grateful to everyone who has donated. The 'Go Fund Me' page will remain open for anyone who wishes to support this worthwhile project. Please also enjoy the spectacular route that we have devised. You can find the details on our website.
The House of Bread is setting up a bakery that will provide training and employment opportunities for vulnerable and disadvantaged women, who face occupation and lockdown.
For more details of the project, please see the Kennington Bethlehem website: http://kenningtonbethlehem.org.uk/walking-for-bread
So here is how we are going to do it.
We would like you to join us on a walk from Pudding Lane to Baker Street, through the historic City and stunning Royal Parks and raise sponsorship for the ‘House of Bread’.
To observe social distancing, walkers will leave from the Monument, EC3R 8AF between 2pm and 3pm, Sunday, 11th October and head to Manchester Square, W1H 6EQ.
We have devised a spectacular route that will stretch your mind as well as your legs with an optional quiz, based on the many points of interest you will pass along the way. There is also a prize for the winner.
The idea is to raise as much money as possible for the project, so please gather as much sponsorship as you can.
We hope you can help a key project for the people of Bethlehem and beyond. and we hope you enjoy Walking for Bread.
