Walking for the Voiceless
Donation protected
Okay, you guys don't know this but I have been out walking almost every day multiple times a day if I can. Four months ago, I wasn't allowed due to an abusive/toxic relationship. I had lost all control. However, I am finally free after leaving in fear of my life and moving to a while new state. BUT, I can use my legs to walk wherever I want to walk for any reason that I want to walk NOW. The outdoors is my happy place. I honestly feel more at peace outside than anywhere else. So, what if I were to walk for an actual reason? A reason that could help many other people... How far can I get?
Walking for the Voiceless.
The people who can't stand up for themselves, the people who aren't allowed; out of fear, shame, or whatever it may be. It's for the taboo - the things brushed under the rug to make the world or people seem better. Sexual crimes, Mental Health everything, child abuse and neglect, all of it. A step towards making the quiet more loud. A step towards a world of knowledge and empowerment. A step towards speaking up. A step towards universal love and acceptance. A step towards living with our eyes open.. I want everyone to know that it doesn't matter where you come from, how old you are, what your life is now - if you just take that step, and then another, but then keep taking them - you can make it to anywhere you set your destination as. ☀️☀️☀️
My goal is to start June 22nd. I have until August 14th. I plan on finding camping sites along the way and pitching a tent. I would love to save enough money to catch a plane ride back as my goal is to make it across country. Could you imagine, if every one of you donated a dollar for every mile? Could you imagine how much awareness we could raise? I am accepting donations now for expenses like food, water, basic needs as well as the plane ticket home. I will purchase my own tent for camping. I want to make it to Los Angeles, CA which is 2,300 miles from where I currently live. If I could get you guys to donate a dollar per mile - that would help so much.
If I cross your path and want to walk along for a bit, that would be cool too. Anything for the cause. ☀️
One of the places I'm already donating to is Whaley's Children Center. It is the last spot for a child of neglect, abuse, trauma, etc.. it is their home until they are 18. I will be researching some other local organizations to choose 3 more and update you all along the way. thank you all so much for your time and help. No amount of help is too small. Nothing goes unnoticed.
