2 Corinthians 5:7

This is Lissa Lenhard Rosca, originally from Springfield, MO, who is living in the greater Chicago area. As a full-time Nanny, she was active and always moving, ensuring the children in her care were always encouraged to explore the world and have fun outdoors. As an Event florist and technician, she worked hard and creatively to build the beauty that clients asked for during their special moments.

On June 20th of 2024, an unpredictable accident occurred in which she suffered an ACL tear, MCL tear, double tear of the Meniscus, bone bruising, and a small fracture. This incident left her unable to walk and will continue to hinder her ability to do so for the upcoming months. The accident occurred in Springfield, MO where she initially sought emergency treatment. However, due to troubles with insurance, she had traveled back home to Chicago for reparative surgery. Although this week we received word from insurance that they have denied coverage of more than half of the physical therapy treatments needed to help Lissa walk again.

Due to the nature of her jobs and injury, this accident has left her unable to work. With no salary, denial of disability, no medical leave, and medical bills rising (due to prior mentioned insurance issues) as supportive as her husband Horatiu has been and as hard as he has worked to support the both of them, the expenses, both medical and other, are piling up. Any support is welcomed and very much appreciated.
