Walking To Success: Africa We Care

Walking To Success, a 501(C)(3) organization, is about implementing the basic needs of the underprivileged kids in rural and district communities. We are excited about the success of our first project which was launched in Ghana, Africa at the New Generation Academy. Through charitable donations, we were able to donate 200 pairs of school shoes, 200 pairs of socks, 25 Webster Dictionaries, along with materials for the teachers. Disturbingly, while at the academy, I saw the bathroom facility and was astounded that little boys and girls were using the same space to urinate. This had a huge impact on me and became the inspiration for our next project, New Generation Academy Building.

Our goal for the New Generation Academy Building project is to fulfill the need for essential facilities- separate toilets for the boys and girls. We will build a total of 4 bathrooms, 2 for the boys and 2 for the girls. Having adequate bathroom facilities is a basic human necessity that will enhance the atmosphere where education is imparted.

We must take charge and effect change. Our projected donation requirement is $4,000 to complete the project. This cost may increase pending inflation.
