Walking with Blue

Hi, my name is Sarah and Blue is my 10 month old doggie. He's recently been to the vet's for x-rays and the vet referred Blue to a specialist as he has been diagnosed with Hip dysplasia. While at the vets they noticed that his left back knee was also deformed and the bone was growing out in the wrong direction.

I have already spent over £3000 on x-rays,CT scans and consultations.

The vet has informed me that the operation to correct the Knee will cost £5000 as long as everything goes well. Blue will be in recovery for about 7 months. After he has recovered Blue will then need his left hip repaired and that will take another 7 months to recover. If that goes well Blue will then be able to have the right hip done.

Blue was rejected by his mum at 6 weeks,so my dad helped me buy him as a companion for my other dog Garry. Blue is a big friendly dog who loves going out to play fetch. He loves meeting people and likes children. As you can understand I'm really concerned for his health and want to do everything I can to give him the life he deserves. Any help provided would be greatly appreciated. I only want him to have a loving long life pain free.
