Walking Steps For The NHS
Hello my name is Simon Kindleysides, I’m from Blofield, Norwich.
Im known for been on TV, A World Record Holder & the First Paralysed Man to walk The London Marathon using an exoskeleton suit in 2018.
I’ve raised thousands & thousands for charities over the years so I want to do some more..
This lock down is driving everyone crazy
mentally & physically so I wanted to push
myself again.
So what am I going to do..
I’m paralysed from the waist down yet I get to walk using an exoskeleton suit,
An average person achieve 2000 steps per
1 mile walked.
So I’m going to WALK 4 miles a day for the
whole of February 28 days.
So that works out roughly 8000 steps per day equals to roughly 224,000 steps for the whole of February which equals to 112 miles.
I’m raising money for the Norfolk & Norwich University Foundation Charity Trust- NHS as i believe they need as much help as they can get at the
moment, with what is going on..Money I raise it’s going towards ICU & towards a children’s operation theatre.
So every step I take is a breath for someone who needs it.. let’s help me make a difference :)
Every donation would mean the world to me
:D so let’s raise as much as we can #NHS
