Walter "Buster" Gordon

Walter Gordon, affectionately known as "Buster" sadly passed away on October 25, 2023 after a long and debilitating illness. Buster never met a stranger and all of us loved him during his many years as head stallion groom at Spendthrift Farm. In addition to being a brilliant horseman, he could throw a mean snowball. :) He's a permanent part of our memories of Spendthrift.

Unfortunately, his illness took a heavy financial toll on him and his family. One of the many ways you can honor his memory is to help his dear wife, Virginia, with Buster's funeral expenses and hospital bills. All funds will be turned directly over to Virginia. Buster's funeral will take place on November 4, 2023.

Visitation begins at 10:00 am and the funeral will begin at 12:00 noon at:
