Walter Freeman Memorial Fund

Donation protected
On May 5, we lost one of the good guys…

Walt Freeman was a father of three wonderful ladies, a grandfather to three and my sister Sheryl’s husband. Walt served in the Marines during the Vietnam War, enlisting just 17 days after graduating from Marina High School in San Leandro, CA in 1969. While serving, he was stationed at Camp Lejeune. Forty years later, the symptoms of the contaminated water and exposure to Agent Orange began to slowly take over his body. Minor issues with balance deteriorated to the use of a walker then further to Parkinson’s disease until a severe stroke ultimately stole him from us.

This fund is to help Sheryl pay for the costs of unexpectedly losing a loved one. It’s to help her get back what was lost in recent months as well as plan for the near future. Any help, no matter the amount, would be appreciated as they bring closure to this tragedy.
