On the afternoon of October 21, 2023 our family received the news no family member ever wants to hear. Walter Juarez Guardado, 37, went out on Lake Lanier to test drive his jet ski and never returned from the water. Family and friends spent three days endlessly searching the waters and surrounding areas until his deceased body was ultimately found on Monday afternoon.

Walter was a loving father of two daughters, Angie and Valentina. He was such an adventurous, athletic, and caring person. His family and friends meant the whole world to him.

We, Eldi DePaz (father) and Ana DePaz (mother), are asking for donations to cover funeral expenses to lessen the financial burden on our family. Any contributions are immensely appreciated, and we will be forever grateful.

La tarde del 21 de Octubre de 2023 nuestra familia recibió la noticia que ningún miembro de la familia quiere escuchar. Walter Juárez Guardado, de 37 años, salió al lago Lanier para probar su moto acuática y nunca regresó del agua. Familiares y amigos pasaron tres días buscando interminablemente en las aguas y áreas circundantes hasta que finalmente se encontró su cuerpo fallecido el lunes por la tarde.

Walter era un padre amoroso de dos hijas, Angie y Valentina. Era una persona muy aventurero, atlético y cariñoso. Su familia y amigos significaban todo el mundo para él.

Solicitamos donaciones para cubrir los gastos del funeral y aliviar la carga financiera de la familia de Walter. Cualquier contribución es inmensamente apreciada y estaremos eternamente agradecidos.
