Walter Shafer and Charlene McLaughlin Shafer

Our family unexpectedly lost our Brother Walter Shafer on July 31, 2023 and our Mother,  Charlene Shafer just 4 days later on August 4, 2023. This came a a sudden shock for all of us losing Walter. Mom has been sick for sometime, and she was ready to be called home.

Walter was loved by so many. He spoiled our mom as much as he could. He had such a giving heart and I know he touched so many people. His smile will forever be in our memories.

Charlene loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with all she had. She taught us so much about life. She was loved by so many. She was her nurses favorite, she touched the hearts of many.

They are with our Daddy now and at peace.

Services will be shared when we have the details available.

At this time we are asking friends and family for prayers and/or donations to help with their burials. We need to pull together funds in about a 2 week period. Please also feel free to share memories. Thank you all for loving our Brother and our Mother.
