Monster Mashing for Walter
Donation protected
Happy Halloween! We take great pleasure in decorating each year to spread joy to all who come to see our display. Although we've never used our decorations for a charitable cause before, we've decided to make our decorations more meaningful this year by supporting a local resident in need.
Walter Daglow was an average 4-year old boy, living and playing with his loving parents and 3 sisters. His parents discovered a small lump on his head. Initially, like most little boys, it appeared that he had simply bumped his head playing in the yard, with his dinosaurs, or pretending to be Spider-Man. The lump grew very rapidly, and after consulting with many doctors and extensive testing, his parents learned the devastating news. Walter has been diagnosed with High-Risk Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a form of pediatric cancer.
Sadly, the week of Walter’s 5th birthday, he began his first round of chemotherapy at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital.
His parents, Mike and Christa have spent the past weeks rotating hospital stays with Walter while also caring for their 3 daughters. Work has been all but impossible, as doctor appointments, emergency room visits, and long hospital stays have been extremely time-consuming. This has taken an emotional, financial, and physical toll on his parents & sisters.
The purpose of this page is to help offset medical costs, living costs, as well as unforeseen future expenses. If you're unable to make a monetary donation, please keep Walter in your thoughts and prayers!
