Walt's Warriors Funeral Fund
Donation protected
On Thursday Feb 18th 2021, at the age of 70, my friend Marc's father, Walter Tillery, had a severe stroke which left him paralyzed on his right side and unable to walk, talk, or eat. This has been a great struggle for Marc and his family over the last 2 years as a result, especially with the added difficulties of the COVID shutdown. Their family has taken a huge hit with medical bills and are now at the unfortunate and early end of Walt's time here on earth (due to an infection that has set in that has become systemic). Walt has fought hard to stay here with his family, but the feeding tube has now been removed, and antibiotics have ceased. Any assistance you can give so that Walt may be laid properly to rest would be greatly appreciated -- he was a wonderful father, grandfather, husband and friend. The family's goal is to have a funeral service which will include a wake and service in the same day here in Batavia, and cremation following the service. Once they get his ashes back, they will plan a trip to North Carolina with a private family service there where he will be reunited with his wife, and spread their ashes throughout the state of North Carolina together.
Please help this family properly pay tribute to a man full of life that so loved his family, enjoyed playing music and guitar, and had an untimely tragedy take everything from him. I would like to help them focus on celebrating his life, and not anguish over how they will do so after two years of financial struggle and the pain of watching a loved one go through this. Thank you for any help you can give.
