Wanda Bryant

I am Rev. Carolyn Foster. I serve as one of the Alabama Poor People's Campaign chairs. My dear friend and fellow comrade in the struggle is Wanda Bryant, also a chair of the Alabama PPC. Wanda lost her 21-year-old grandson last night to gun violence. Wanda has experienced more loss and has had more struggles than a person should endure. She lost her daughter over a year ago and is raising her younger grandchildren on a limited income. She has been unable to work for several weeks now because of sciatic nerve pain. The grandson who was killed sometimes helped her with his younger siblings. We want to raise funds to help Wanda with what we know will be more financial burdens in the days to come.
