W&L 24 for Equal Justice Initiative
Tax deductible
The W&L athletic department recently released a statement regarding the Black Lives Matter movement. The student athletes of W&L want to show our support not only through words but with actions. Following the donation period this week student-athletes will be walking, running or biking 8.46 miles by June 21st to honor George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and all others. We chose 8.46 to reflect the 8 minutes and 46 seconds that George Floyd was held down by Officer Chauvin. We hope that you consider donating to this cause as we bring awareness to our campus.
