Ware out Cancer for Melissa

Melissa Ware was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer on March 12, 2018. Unfortunately, Melissa’s cancer is incurable and she was given approximately two years left to live. After an unsuccessful chemotherapy treatment and immunotherapy trial, Melissa is currently undergoing a second round of chemotherapy in hopes to keep the cancer from spreading as it has already metastasized to her lungs, lymph nodes, and liver.  
At this time there are no surgical options available for Melissa. With her husband, Tim, at her side, she drives to Madison every other week for treatments. Through all of this, Melissa has continued to work for the Wautoma Area School District as the Technology Director.
