Warmer Winter for Assyrians in Armenia

Tax deductible

For 195 years, Assyrians have been living in the villages of Armenia (Arzni, Dvin, Kolyasar, Shahriyar, and Gyol Assor) having fled the Persian persecution during the Russo-Persian War. Currently, we have about 500 families living in these villages and more than half of them are in need.

Etuti Institute in collaboration with Gabbara started a Houses Renovation project for the Assyrians in need in Armenia in May 2021. We have so far helped with the renovations of 6 households and we have been receiving a very high demand of need for this project due to their poor financial situations and cold and long winter of these villages that reaches (-25 Celsius / -13 Fahrenheit) starting from mid September to April. A lot of these houses do not have windows or doors, their bathrooms and showers are very basic, they do not have proper clean water or gas system, no heaters, and damaged walls and floors.

As a start we are aiming to support at least another 10 households and we need an average of 2,500 USD per house.

We are hoping to continue this project on a regular bases until we have met the basic needs of living for all of our Assyrian families in need in Armenia.

Please note that Etuti Institute is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and your donations are tax-deductible in the USA.

Let us provide a warmer winter for Assyrians in Armenia.

Thank you for your contribution! Every single dollar counts!
