The Warm Hands, New York City
Donation protected
It is that time of the year to give back to the community. The 'brrrr' winter is approaching soon!
Did you know, as of July 2020, there were 58,089 homeless people, including 13,046 homeless families with 19,278 homeless children, sleeping in public every night in New York City?
We, volunteers, aim to continue the annual tradition to fundraise, provide essential supplies and meals for displaced/homeless individuals, to keep them warm and fed.
How can you help? Contribute! You can donate small or big, every dollar means more supplies! The fundraising goal is to raise $2,500 by November 13, 2020, to cover the expenses of transportation, meals, and supplies. In the last weekend of November, we will stop by designated spots in NYC and distribute the bags.
With the funds, each brown bag will include:
Scarf
Gloves
Hat
Socks
Hand Sanitizer
Masks
Hygiene products (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, etc)
Supplies (Ziploc sandwich bag, paper towel, etc)
Meals (water, sandwich, & snacks)
Let's spread love and make a difference, especially at this time with the impact of the pandemic. ♥️
