Warmth for a Couple Facing Health Challenges

Our furnace is out.

We have immediate heat but we are having to face replacing an HVAC system. And out of a husband and wife couple, the wife (myself) has fibromyalgia and mobility issues that get worse with the cold- I can't regulate my body temperature well.

The photo is from our wedding. Our wedding was done at a courthouse to even try and be responsible: a time where we were scared but had hope.

Hope is difficult right now.

What We've Tried:

We have raised some funds towards a combo (heater/AC) replacement but need to fund the remainder. We are looking at labor costs and sourcing a unit ourselves, looking at any tax rebates, etc. This is already right after dealing with a car engine breakdown in November and issues with our water heater. While the water heater and car issues were handled, it has left us completely tapped out. And with threats of tariffs and supply chain disruptions, companies expect their prices to only go up in 2025 as well.

We are panicking.

Who Are We?

A pair of nerds (we play D&D and Pathfinder). We also can work in tabletop writing or editing, as well as speaking at anime conventions, and can help with accessibility, but that might not happen and pay in time. Thank you for your patience.
