Warm Up Tallahassee

Hi there! We are Warm Up Tallahassee, and we are hoping you will join our efforts to help warm up the less fortunate in our community. The 2024 count showed that 840 people were experiencing homelessness, including 192 youth and 112 veterans.

A donation as little as $10 can help provide 1 homemade hat and scarf; however, every penny donated will be used to warm someone. Last year, we were able to make almost 100 items within a few months. This year, we are starting early in an effort to meet a larger need. We aim to provide a hat, scarf, fingerless gloves, socks, possibly blankets, and a care package. Many of these items we will make with our own hands, and some of the items may need to be purchased.

We also seek local volunteers who can help spread the word, put together care packages, knit and/or crochet.
