Our family of five, including two children, has been displaced across Gaza five times as of March 25th,

We are the Abu Jarad family, displaced five times, enduring fear and loss during the relentless war in Gaza. The war has returned, bringing fear and death even closer.
Sleep has become a distant memory as terror surrounds us, and the shadow of death looms ever nearer.

Today, we have been displaced for the fifth time and are now staying in the displacement camps west of Gaza. The situation is very difficult and painful. My sick mother and our family keep moving from one place to another, trying to escape death amidst such a hard situation, with the high costs of medicine and daily needs.
Our home, which my father worked so hard to build over many years, destroyed. Along with it, we've lost our memories, our sense of security, and everything we once loved. But despite this, we refuse to lose hope.
Our dream is to survive despite the difficult circumstances we face. We hope to provide my mother with the urgent medical treatment she needs, restore our home, and rebuild our lives. We also continue to struggle with meeting basic needs such as food, water, and medicine.Your kindness and generosity are the only hope we have to rise from the destruction and create a future filled with peace and stability.
Why We Need Your Help
Amidst the severe rise in living costs, the closure of crossings, and my father’s inability to work, we are struggling to meet basic needs such as food, water, and medical treatment for my sick mother. Our home in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza, is now rubble, and we have lost everything.
We urgently need your support to provide the necessary treatment for my mother and to rebuild our home and lives. Your help brings us hope for a better future and a chance to restore what we have lost. Every contribution counts, and we deeply appreciate your generosity during this difficult time.
Every dollar you contribute will bring us closer to securing the treatment my mother desperately needs and the restoration of our home. Despite the devastation, your generosity can offer us the hope and strength to rebuild our life.
Meet Our Family
- Baligh, the father: The pillar of our family who lost his life's work when our home was destroyed. Despite the devastation, he courageously ventures out daily to gather what little food and water he can find.
- Miral, the mother: Struggling with a debilitating sinus disease in the harsh conditions of the camp, she tirelessly cares for our children. Without immediate treatment in Egypt, her health will continue to deteriorate.
- Malak and Mohammed: The children of our family, who dream of becoming a nurse and a doctor to heal their people someday. Their studies have been disrupted, but they still cling to hope. They often ask, "When will we return home to continue our studies?".
- Sanad and Haya:Our family's children have no future now, but their dream is to become doctors in the future.
- Dalal, the Grandma, our grandmother: She is a beloved member of our family, and we care for her amidst the challenges of displacement.
How We'll Use Your Generosity
Your donations will go directly towards:
- Medical treatment for Miral, whose condition requires immediate care, as soon as we get to Egypt.
- Providing basic necessities such as food, water, and medication for my mother, who is in a very difficult situation due to the high cost of living and the closure of crossings.
- Rebuilding our destroyed home and restoring the memories we lost, giving us a chance to reclaim a part of what was taken from us.
