How Green Minds Works?
Our Green Minds Leamington project is currently run by 2 fantastic, dedicated volunteers, and opens from 10am-12pm on a Tuesday. We wish to open the project at more times of the week to be able to offer more wellbeing workshops, crafting sessions, events, physical movement sessions, grow and learn classes and fun activities that the whole community can enjoy.
Budget Breakdown/Aims:
In order to achieve this and ensure the space is well kept, safe and feasible to maintain, we would spend £800 on the following:
Outdoor mats/temporary flooring so that come the new year we can offer outdoor Yoga,
meditation, botanical drawing and a range of other classes to benefit the wellbeing of our service users £250
(£1.45 per sq foot, we would need in the area of 170sq feet to allow for classes of 6-8 people)
a new garden shed (7'x5') to store lawn mower, tools and other equipment £300
Disposal costs for the weathered garden shed approx. £200-300
