Water collection and sustainability efforts to increase levels of available water in dry regions.

This is a solution mainly driven by the recent events that have taken place in California. In order to get an initial setup, here is a link to the items needed. Here is a link to ChatGPT with additional info on setting up such a project.

This is a rain water collection project to assist the reforesting projects I forsee happening for the next couple of years in California. Hopefully this methodology will flourish and grow over the next couple of years to collect more rain water that we miss during excessive rain times.

Collection of rain water should be the primary focus as many structures have gutters attached that could be diverting water to more collection barrels.
Also, a larger collection station for rain water (FL location) may be an option in the future that I'll be working towards and will keep you posted via Water collection effort blog section.

Desalinization technology for possible implementation near beaches is a future effort, check my website https://browhard.com/faq for updates.

Scheduled pickups of the barrels from participating locations. Hand trucks needed, and possibly research into lift gate technology on collection trucks.
Possibly pumping the water from the collection barrels to a larger holding tank in a truck.

Initial prototype implementation costs:
Estimated cost for 3x 79.99 (80 rounded upward) barrels from Home Depot = $400 for home implementation.

After this prototype installation/implementation is completed here, and with possible participation from other locations here in FL, we should be able to make good on saving it for a rainy day....or not??? . You decide, I'd rather be sitting with gallons of water that day when they need to replant somethings (I ate some nice walnuts from round there, and they do have nice tea tree farms for razor bumps. Just saying a lot of great products come from California.).

Also going to need mounting tapcon screws and straps to secure the water bottles to the side of the house (double check materials and city building code for residential projects).

Gutter equipment and securing strap to be obtained from Home Depot estimated costs (under $100)

I will post pictures of the installation once the acquisition of the barrels and hand truck are completed.

I will place barrels in the shed foundation area here at the house. The benefit is that the concrete foundation hooks can be installed to secure the barrels to the ground (wind and hurricane considerations).

I'll check with local military contacts to see if they have transport efforts going to the California region once the collection setup is established and first barrels are filled. But if estimates for shipping via normal methods i s needed, they are outlined in the ChatGPT conversation here.

###AGAIN THIS IS DEPENDENT ON RAIN HERE IN FL. I'LL POST UPDATES TO MY IG AND FB WITH VIDEOS###

Next steps:
Barrel acquisition
Gutter equipment acquisition
