Water for families in the Kosovo Slum, Kampala
Over half the families, living in the Kosovo slum in Kampala are without clean water. They collect water from contaminated wells or the local river. Children miss almost a month of education every year because they are unwell with water-borne infections. £100 pays for a new clean water tap connection for five families. It is fundamentally life changing. If you sponsor a connection, we will put your name on it as a permanent record of your generosity. (Just let us know what words you want).
Families in the Kosovo slum are some of the poorest in Uganda. Helping Uganda Schools, is working with local grassroots Uganda NGOs to improve basic living conditions and help children prepare for school. With education, children can escape poverty, violence and crime. Your donations will go a long way to making a positive difference.
