Water for the Children of Uganda

In July 2019, my sister Stacey and I are returning to Uganda to bring much needed resources and assistance to several small villages that desperately need our help.  The main village we are visiting is Kakumiro, Uganda but our friend, Father Joachim, is responsible for the 19 villages in the area.  The villages are extremely poor and have no electricity and few wells causing a critical need for clean water.

The local school has 300 children of all ages.  THERE IS NO WATER AT THE SCHOOL OR NEARBY CHURCH!!!!! Can you imagine sending your child to school without access to water? 

Our goal is to have a gutter system installed at the school that will divert rainwater into a large concrete cistern that will provide clean rainwater for all of the students. The total cost is approximately $3700.00 and Stacey and I can only accomplish this with the help of others.  This is a project we are extremely passionate about have undertaken on our own while we are on the mission trip to help Father Joaquim and the children of Kakumiro, Uganda.  We very much appreciate any support you can give.  100% of your donation will go directly to providing access to water for the children, it is not going towards any costs of our trip.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
