Water4Gaza (Help Rebuild the North)

Salam dear friends, this campaign was created to make spreading the word about our project easier. As we all know, the situation in Gaza is beyond catastrophic. People have been displaced from their homes, leaving behind everything to seek refuge in camps for over 9 months now; and many have been separated from their families in all the chaos. These camps, set up amidst the rubble of what was once people's homes and businesses, are overcrowded, deprived of basic necessities, and are under constant threat of being bombed. As it stands, the people in Khan Younis, already malnourished and dehydrated, travel long distances (3-4 km) in weather that frequently reaches over 37℃ (98℉). They wait in long lines for a supply of drinkable water that barely covers the needs of a family.

The Khan Younis camp we’re representing currently houses over 200 displaced families, and to ease some of their burdens we are fundraising to make water more accessible. The money will go towards paying for a water truck that makes stops within the camp everyday to allow people to fill up their containers. $1000 pays for 10 days, and so please consider making weekly donations, no matter how little, and sharing the campaign on your socials often.
