Water Infrastructure for village in Nakuru, Kenya
Donation protected
Over the past two years, I committed to addressing the basic needs of clean water for the community I grew up in Nakuru, Kenya. In 2020 we successfully dug a borehole and confirmed sufficient water to support the village.
In 2021, we built a water tower that would hold 32,000 liters of water and installed the necessary electricity to drive the water pumps needed.
In 2022, we set up a token-based water distribution point that would allow the community to draw water in a dignified and respectful way. The water is free to the community, and we have thus far distributed 245,000 liters since August 2022.
We are now seeking assistance to distribute the water to 168 homes that would substantially impact the community's quality of life and farm productivity. As the need is immediate, we have seeking help in building out the water infrastructure required to reach the farms.
The target goal will help build and fully support the farms and water infrastructure, including maintenance and electricity. The funds will go to JB Drilling Company, a partner company located in Nakuru Kenya that has proven reliable and transparent in executing our vision.
Please partner with us in providing safe drinking water for the community and addressing a basic need that should be accessible to all.
