Help Anushka Prevent Malaria and Dengue

Anushka has set herself the bold goal of constructing 17 soak pits in her village to prevent Malaria and Dengue! Wastewater seeps out of houses and flows out on the streets, creating various problems:
1. The accumulated water provides a breeding ground for mosquitoes, who in turn spread diseases. India is designated as a high burden to high impact country by the WHO. (https://www.who.int/news-room/feature-stories/detail/world-malaria-report-2019) While the situation is improving, there is much work to be done!
2. The wastewater damages the streets over time and makes it difficult for people to commute.
3. The accumulated water is extremely unhygienic and emanates a bad smell.
Your valuable contributions will be used to purchase the raw materials required to construct the pits and pay for the associated labour costs. Please see pictures at the end.

I have been teaching students in rural India since 2019 via Skype. I believe that each individual must contribute towards the betterment of our society and make the world a better place. Anushka is a great example of the same! Achieving such an amazing goal at such a young age will bolster her confidence to cause change. She will strive for a better future and break the societal norms that exist in the patriarchal villages of India.
Please help Anushka achieve her goal! Please Help Anushka Dream!
