Water Pump for clean water in El Salvador

My name is Jonas Rutherford. I am 17 years old and live in Ojai, California. Last year I visited this island and fell in love with the people in the community. I knew I wanted to make a positive difference and help those who welcomed me so warmly. When I learned their water pump was failing to provide safe drinking water to the local school and community I wanted to learn how I could help. Partnering with Paso Pacifico, I am raising funds to purchase the water pump and will travel to El Salvador next month to help restore potable water to this community. Your contributions to this important project will benefit dozens of people by giving them access to clean water.
