Our founder, head operator, and President is Luke Tarbutton, and he is a private business owner and U.S. Army veteran from Lufkin, TX and has a wife and two beautiful daughters. When Hurricane Harvey came through and put innocent, women, and children in harms way we answered the call. We went down to help those in need in Luke's private boat, truck, and used all his personal equipment. The calls for help that flooded social media, dispatch officers, and friends and family were overwhelming to first responders.
Our team started to help people on our own, not dependent on the approval of any organization; however working in cooperation with them. Team Alpha went and saved people during Tropical Storm Imelda, Category 4 Hurricane Laura, and Category 2 Hurricane Delta. Every time we went to help and save those people that no one else could get to, we use our own personal equipment and money to fund our team. We have replaced Luke's truck once already, as well as his boat, and now we require a new boat trailer. We have purchased the team our own radios, ropes, harnesses, vests, and all of the equipment needed to do this in a safe and effective way.
We have applied for our 501C tax form so we can help those that donate to us.
In order to get to the next level, to go in quicker and help more people, we need better equipment that we cannot personally afford. We need a deuce and a half truck truck and a Zodiac 640 Hurricane boat. With the amount we have asked for my team we will be able to go anywhere and help anyone. To date our organization has saved 136 men, women, and children. We look forward to helping more every year with your help.
Help us, and be a part of our rescue journey.

As civilians we found that we had the ability to move from one jurisdiction to another without restriction or approval. During that hurricane we were able to save over 25 men, women, and children who, if we would not have been there, they would have died. We were able to move countless others to safety as well during that hurricane.
After seeing the lack of usable resources and the bureaucratic red tape that men and women in law enforcement, Fire, and EMS have to go through to help people, we realized there has to be a better way to help. The best way to help people is to not be attached to a governmental organization.
