Help Catalyze Water School 2023 (and beyond!)

Hi! My name is Simone Johnson and I am an interdisciplinary artist, researcher and cultural worker mostly making work about water. I started Water School last summer, which was an experiment born from my participation in a group residency called #TendingtheEdge, a collaboration between Works on Water, Culture Push and the Department of City Planning.

The school is still very much in the early stages, but I hope to raise $6,000 (and more!) for virtual and in-person programming in New York City and upstate New York, as well as in the Colorado River Basin in 2023. Your support will be greatly appreciated, as the money will go toward paying local presenters/facilitators, 2023 Water School co-stewards, access doulas, event documentation and an organizing stipend for myself.
