Water Well for Ahmed Ireed

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُون

‎(Verily we belong to Allah and verily to him do we return)

On Saturday, July 2, 2022, our beloved father Ahmed Ireed tragically passed away following a three-year-long battle with Cancer. Ahmed was a beloved husband and a father of six. He was an honest and respected man amongst his community, often times raising money for those in need via his wide network of friends and family.

Abu Hurairah narrated that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, “When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and righteous offspring who will pray for him.”

Therefore, to further continue the charitable acts Ahmed started during his life, we are fundraising for a water well in his name in order to supply water for the less fortunate. This will in turn act as sadaqah jariyah for both Ahmed and those who donate, whenever someone drinks from this water well.

We would appreciate anyone who is willing to kindly donate and help us reach our goal. Finally, My family would like to request you to keep our late father Ahmed in your prayers during this difficult time.
