Water well in school Santiago de La Frontera El Salvador

Hi,

My name is Jennifer. I started Buenas vibras Only as a fundraiser for a water well in the Educational complex of Santiago de La Frontera, El Salvador. I have a special place in my heart for this school as I would spend my summer vacations there with my grandmother. Unfortunately she passed away in 2021 so this is a special memory I have of her.

I am also a former school teacher myself that know the love a teacher grows for the children during there time in the school year.

During the Summer season the town is limited in the water supply as it doesn't rain much that season and water has to be cut off at times in the town to be able to spread the water around the town. The school is forced to purchase water trucks for the week to be able to provide the children with water to wash their hands, use the toilets, cook for them, basic cleaning around the school etc.

Often if the water runs out or cant be delivered they are forced to close down the school for the day until they can receive the water. The school attends to approximately 315 children from grades Kindergarten to high school with 17 teachers including the school director.

An excellent solution would be to have a water well in the school where they can easily have access to water and never have to worry about how they will be getting the water for the day and classes wont be interrupted . I am in the process of working together with the school director, as this is a long and expensive project that they need our support to achieve this.
